Listed at 5'3" Dominika Cibulkova is one of the shortest women in the Top 50, but has used her quick feet and potent ground strokes to diffuse some of the biggest names on the WTA. Cibulkova became the second woman from Slovakia to reach the semis of a Grand Slam when she advanced to that round at the 2009 Roland Garros. She achieved a career-high ranking of No. 12 that year, when she also reached the fourth round of the Australian Open. In 2011, Cibulkova upset No. 1 Caroline Wozniacki en route to the Wimbledon quarterfinals to become the third Slovak to beat a top-ranked woman. Four months later, Cibulkova captured her first career title in Moscow. Cibulkova represented Slovakia in the 2008 Olympics.
